Gliffy & the Site Map

Hope you are enjoying the week exploring the structure of your site and mapping it out with gliffy.
When we meet on Wednesday, we'll review the site maps and start building these sites. Here's my gliffy sitemap; prepared a bit *too* quickly -- I'm sure yours will be much better:-)

Intro to Web Publishing Class - Your First Blog Assignment

You'll be adding your URL link to the Blackboard discussion forum, and then, I'll be adding it here; so you can see what everyone wrote. Once again, in this first assignment, you'll list two (2) really user-friendly sites and two (2) sites that are not user-friendly.

Give the URL (make sure the link works) and explain why the sites work or don't, based on points in the article by Jakob Nielsen on Usability and the Top 10 Web Design Mistakes.

Here's a copy of the "About Us" page I'm currently struggling with in GoLive.

Inside My System

AMD Athlon
2.16 GHz and 1.00 GB of RAM

which means:

I have an AMD microprocessor which is less expensive than an Intel and has a slight performance advantage. It runs at 2.16-billion cycles per second.

In my RAM "waiting room," where my data is waiting to be processed and other already-processed data is waiting to be stored more permanently, I have the capacity for one billion bytes of information.

Good Morning......

....OH....only my 15th email with a PayPal Notification stating that "someone had used your account from different locations,"..."confirm your banking details,".....aaaahhhhhhh!!!...the day, is *young*.:-)
